Southdown House introduces itself.

A fictional English country estate on the Sussex downs — and one continuous evening, scrolled. This page is the Cinematic First Visit: the camera carries you from the gates to candlelight before a single email is exchanged.

The First Visit — Arrive before you arrive.

The gates open at golden hour. Scroll, and the lime avenue carries you in.

The Ceremony — Your aisle, waiting.

White chairs on mown grass, borders in full September colour, the orangery doors open.

Golden Hour — The view pours south.

York stone, a balustrade, the vines dropping away to the downs.

Until Late — Candlelight, then dancing.

The threshing barn under oak and festoon light. This is where the evening lands.

Pricing

Exclusive use of the house, walled garden, terrace and threshing barn. Saturdays from £8,500; midweek from £5,500. Licensed for ceremonies, 120 seated in the walled garden, 140 in the barn.
